Liposuction: What to Expect Before, During, & After surgery

ONE WEEK AFTER SURGERY: About five to seven days after your surgery, your stitches will be removed. During this visit, your doctor will once again assess areas where the procedure may have caused some firmness during the healing process. If such areas are identified, they will be addressed.

POST-SURGERY RECOVERY: The recovery period for liposuction spans two to three weeks. By this time, any bruising should have significantly faded, and the texture of the treated tissue will have returned to normal. Three months post-surgery, you'll have a final visit with your doctor. At this point, the staff will capture a photograph of your new body, serving as a comparison to your pre-surgery appearance.
