Prof. Dr. R. Manikandan

With 18 years of experience as a General Surgeon and 10+ years of experience as an expert Urologist, Dr. Manikandan has treated 5000+ patients with various types of Urological ailments. One of the very few Neurologist to have mastered the use of robotics in Urology and was also the 1st to introduce Robotic Surgery in Pondycherry. Has performed more than 250 robotic procedures including complex procedures like robotic radial cystectomy with intracorporeal orthotopic neobladder. He has also performed more than 300 successful Kidney Transplants. Dr. Manikandan has peer reviewed many journals, participated in many national conferences, and has number of publications in national and international journals to his credit.
