Dr. Swarnika Srivastava

She is a pioneering Female Cardiac Surgeon in India, with special interest in Heart and Lung Transplants and mechanical assist device. She earned her MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, and her M.Ch. in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery from GB Pant Hospital. She is also USA Medical License Exam certified and trained in Heart Transplantation at Toronto General Hospital.She is noted for her dedication, hard work, and perseverance She serves as a mentor in the Aortic Fellowship Program at IACTS and guides students in the DNB program. Her role as a faculty member and mentor highlights her commitment to guiding and inspiring the next generation of medical professionals.Currently at Medanta, she plays an integral role in the Heart and Lung Transplant program, showcasing her dedication and diligence as one of the few Female Cardiac Surgeons in India specializing in these complex procedures.
