He is the Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive And Cosmetic Surgery at the Manipal Hospital in the Whitefield area of Bangalore. He has performed many Cosmetic procedures, Plastic Surgeries, and Reconstructive Surgeries in his career and is well-known for his skills. He is skilled in performing various Cosmetic Surgeries like Liposuction, Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, Lip Reduction, and Lip Augmentation. He has also done Reconstructive Surgeries like Cancer Reconstruction, trauma reconstruction, and Cleft Lip Repair Surgery. He has a DNB in Plastic Surgery and has done his MBBS from the Siddhartha Medical College. He is also skilled in doing hand and micro surgeries. He got a Hand and Micro Surgery fellowship at the Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore in 2015. He has performed the famous 'Mommy Makeover' surgeries, which help women get back into shape after pregnancy. He has also done Reduction Mammoplasty and Augmentation Mammoplasty as well. He has treated patients suffering from Gynaecomastia (swelling of breasts) and polydactyly (having extra fingers), syndactyly (having two or more united fingers), Microtia (ears not formed completely) and cleft lip (lip tissue not joined wholly). He won the First Prize at the Surgical Society of Bengaluru conference in March 2005 for his poster presentation about the replantation of thumb. He again won the first prize for his presentation on the topic of 'Tissue Expansion- Our Clinical Series' at the conference organised 2006 by the same society. Again in March 2013, he won the Second Prize for his poster presentation about Rhinoplasty from the Surgical Society of Bengaluru. His article about fat harvesting with a mucous extractor and a polypropylene mesh was submitted to the Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery. He presented a paper on Perineal Reconstruction at the plastic surgeons meet held in Bangalore in February 2016. He has worked on tissue expansion, management of scars, management of deformities, reconstruction of Faciomaxillary, etc. He has done buttock liposuction, thigh liposuction, breast lifting surgery, breast implantations, tummy tuck, body contouring, cheek implantations, and even facial implants. But his area of expertise remains in abdominoplasty, liposuction, augmentation surgery, and hand and microsurgery.
