Dr. Sarat Chandra Pingali

Dr. Sarat Chandra Pingali is an experienced Surgical Oncologist with more than 19 years of experience in treating Cancer patients and performing a wide variety of Cancer Surgeries. He did his MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, and MS (Gen. Surgery) from Osmania Hospital, Hyderabad. Further, he completed his MCh course in cancer surgery from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore in 2012. He had various academic achievements including Prizes for Anatomy, Social and Preventive Medicine, and a University medal for MS General Surgery. He worked in the Oncology departments of various institutions including AIIMS, Delhi, and Nizam's Hospital, Hyderabad. He is skilled in surgeries of the breast, head, and neck including thyroid, gastrointestinal tract, thoracic (chest) organs, genitourinary organs, bones and soft tissues, and gynaecologic organs including uterus and ovaries, and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries (advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries) for cancer. He has presented papers at national conferences and has various publications. He believes in teamwork to enhance outcomes in cancer treatment. He has participated in various community education programs emphasizing the importance of prevention and early detection of cancer. He wishes to dedicate a significant part of his time to activities concerned with increasing cancer awareness in society.
