He served as the Director at Jaslok Hospital and participated in Cardiology Research and Education Training Programs. Dr. Munshi has published scholarly papers in both international and national journals, earning a fellowship from the American College of Cardiology.

Recognized for his contributions, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cardiological Society of India in 2012 and participated in the India International Cardiology Forum in 2004. Dr. Munshi is an expert in various Cardiac conditions, including Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Heart Valve Disease, Aortic Aneurysm, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Angioplasty & Stenting, Coronary Aartery Bypass Grafting (CABG), among others.
