Dr. Punit Kumar Jain

Dr. Punit Kumar Jain has Orthopaedics working experice of over 25 years. His medical journey started from Baroda Medical College & Maharaja Sayaji Hospital, Vadodara, Gujarat in 1991. There he pursued his Medical graduation MBBS and Masters in Orthopaedic (M.S.). In 2002 Dr. Punit was awarded Diplomate of National Board in Orthopaedics by National Board of Examination, New Delhi. Dr. Punit  did Mch-Ortho (USAIM) from University of Seychelles. Dr. Punit had specialised training in Sports Injuries, Arthroscopic Surgery and Joint Replacement Surgeries under Guidance of Masters - Dr S.K.S. Marya (Delhi), Dr. K. H. Sancheti- (Sancheti Hospital, Pune), Dr. Bancha Chernchujit (Thailand) , Dr. Denny  Lie (Singapore) etc Dr Punit had advanced training in Orthopaedic Trauma, Polytrauma Complex Fractures, Pelvic and Acetabular Fractures surgeries under the ages of AO (Switzerland). Now he is the faculty member involved in training programs of AO. Dr.Punit expertise's in trauma management based on AO principles especially around the hip, knee, elbow, ankle , shoulder joints etc. Dr. Punit is attached with Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi , India,  as Unit Head  & Principal consultant , Deptt. of Joint Replacement & Orthopaedics. He specialises in management of complex Orthopaedic injuries, Arthroscopic surgery, Sports injuries and Joint Replacement surgeries. Dr Punit had been attached with many reputed tertiary care hospitals of Delhi- Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Hindu Rao Hospital etc Dr Punit has operated  more than 10,000 fracture fixation surgeries, More than 3000 Hemi/Total Joint Replacement arthroplasties, primary / revision, cemented / Uncemented Hip, Knee, Elbow & Shoulder Replacement Surgeries., about 1000 Arthroscopic/ Sports  surgeries   and more than 5000 other orthopaedic surgeries. He is admired by his patients and colleagues for his Jolly nature and work expertise.
