A competent Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary and Liver Transplant Surgeon practising for the past 13 years and having a wide range of experience in treating patients with all kinds of liver, gallbladder and pancreatic issues. He has extensive experience in liver transplant surgeries having being trained both in the UK as well as India. He completed his MBBS from KEM Hospital, Mumbai and MS General Surgery from Sion Hospital, Mumbai where he was also an Assistant Professor in General Surgery for a couple of years. After finishing his Fellowship in HPB Surgery at Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, he pursued further training in the field of HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK for a period of 5 years where he achieved the professional qualifications of MRCS and FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He conducted extensive research on pancreatic cancer and successfully attained his Master's Degree in Surgical Oncology from Liverpool, UK. His special interests and expertise includes minor/major Liver resections (Minor/Major Hepatectomy) and Pancreatic resections (Whipple Surgery for Cancer of the Pancreas, Surgery for Chronic Pancreatitis) for Benign and Malignant diseases, Surgery for Gallstone disease and Gallbladder Cancer, Surgery for Bile Duct Injuries and Strictures, and Surgery for Portal Hypertension, Liver Transplantation (Deceased Donor and Living Donor) and Re-transplantation, ABO incompatible Liver Transplantation, Paediatric Liver Transplantation, Machine Perfusion for preservation of Donor Livers.
