Dr. Neena Khanna

Dr. Neena Khanna joins Amrita Hospital after an almost 40 year stint at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi from where she retired as Dean (Academics) & Professor & Head, Dept of Dermatology & Venereology. At AIIMS she was involved in clinical & research, work & teaching & administration. Her clinical work includes special focus on Aesthetic Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Acne, Psoriasis, Vitiligo & other pigmentary disorders, autoimmune blistering diseases, PCOS, leprosy & STIs. 

Apart from several awards & orations, she has been bestowed with the IADVL Life Time Achievement Award by the Indian Association of Dermatologists Venereologists & Leprologists, which is 2nd largest association of dermatologists in the world. She is the author of the popular undergraduate text book of dermatology ‘Illustrated Synopsis of Dermatology & STDs, which is used as a standard text book in MBBS curriculum. She has authored 170 publications in indexed journals & 11 books, & has delivered 200 lectures at national & international conferences
