Dr. Meet Kumar is practicing Haematology & BMT for 14+ years.
He has studied in reputed colleges across India. He has successfully done more than 700 bone marrow transplants (Including Autologous, Allogeneic, matched unrelated and haplo-identical).
He has completed his MBBS and MD from Jamnagar, Gujarat and his DM in Clinical Hematology from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. He has done his fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant from Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata and specialist training in BMT and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CART) Cell Therapy at King's College, London.
He has also worked in prestigious Institutes like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, SGPGI, Lucknow, BL Kapoor Hospital, Delhi and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon.
He is credited with establishing the first Bone Marrow Transplant Center in any State Government set-up in Vadodara, Gujarat
He has received many awards, including ‘Hisar Gaurav’ and ‘Global Award’ for emerging Hematologist.
He is serving as an executive Member’ for the Indian Society of Hematology & Blood Transfusion (The largest national body on Hematology in India).
He has also professional membership with other Hematology Societies, including the American Society of Haematology, Bengal. Society of Haematology and Delhi Society of Haematology.
He has more than 20 research publications in national and international journals of repute.
