Dr. K. JAYANTHI is a well-known Interventional Cardiologist with more than 26 years of experience, and is currently working as Senior Consultant – Cardiology at SIMS Hospital, Vadapalani, Chennai which is a Multi Speciality Hospital. She completed MBBS from Stanley Medical College, Chennai, MD (General Medicine) from Madras Medical College, Chennai, and National Board of Examinations in Cardiology, New Delhi. Her focus of work in the field of Cardiology is Preventive Cardiac health, Performing coronary angiography, angioplasty/stenting, and Pacemaker implantation. She has 40 publications in the National Cardiology Journals. She is interested in teaching students pursuing Cardiology courses. She is a life member of the Cardiological Society of India and the Indian College of Cardiology.
