Dr. Guruprasad Shetty

Dr. Guruprasad Shetty has rejoined Jupiter Hospital as the Chief Liver Transplant & HPB Surgeon. He also served at the hospital, earlier, in 2013-2014, post which he worked at many high-volume centres with Prof. Mohamed Rela and his team for 8 years. During this time, he further mastered his skills and gained immense expertise in the field.

He will be leading the program in Thane which will include Living donor liver transplant, Cadaveric liver transplant for both adults and pediatric age groups, along with complex HPB surgeries. He will be accompanied by a highly experienced team, who will be working as one Unit at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, Pune and Indore.

Apart from his exemplary skills in his field, as all of us know, Guru is a humble and gentle human being who is easy to approach and pleasant to work with.
