Dr. Davinder Singh Chadha

Dr. Davinder Singh Chadha is a well-known Interventional Cardiology Consultant who is currently associated with Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bangalore. Dr. Chadha also holds considerable experience in intravascular lithotripsy, the treatment of arrhythmias with ablation and pacemakers, coronary artery surgery, the treatment of congestive heart failure, intravascular imaging, implantation, CRT devices, coronary interventions, structural heart disease, cardiac outpatient procedures, endovascular interventions, left main angioplasty, TAVI, rotational atherectomy, and bifurcation angioplasty. He graduated with MBBS from AFMC Pune University and acquired his M.D. in Medicine from AFMC Pune University in Pune, Maharashtra. He also pursued his D.M. in Cardiology from the same university. Dr. Chadha further pursued Hons in FRCP (E). He went on to acquire his fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians in the U.K. He has been the Examiner in D.M. (Cardiology) at RGUH Bangalore, Pune University, and Tamil Nadu University in Vellore. Dr. Chadha is an acclaimed Interventional Cardiologist at Old Airport Road. 

Dr. Davinder Singh Chadha has worked in the medical field for over 23 years in the field of Cardiology. Over the years of his service, he performed numerous OCT procedures. He has performed more than over 400 rotational atherectomy surgeries and nearly 10000 non-coronary and coronary intervention surgeries over the past years. Moreover, he operated several complicated interventions comprising carotid and BTK. In South India, he also conducted intravascular lithotripsy operations for calcific coronary artery disease. Dr. Chadha created the TAVI program at each Command health centre in Bangalore and AFMC Pune, where he has performed 12 TAVI surgeries in the last two years. He conducted the first TAVI operation in 2016. He is praised for his kind and compassionate treatment of his patients. He is also fluent in speaking languages like English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Dr. Chadha’s talks and publications include papers in national as well as international journals. For his work on Trans collateral Renal Angioplasty for a completely Occluded Renal Artery, he was awarded the Best Challenging Case Award. Notably, He received the important HQ Southern Command Gold Medal, the Silver Medal, and the General B. Basu Rolling Trophy for finishing first in college in Ophthalmology in the final MBBS test. He also received a Gold Medal for achieving first place in college in surgical procedures in the most recent MBBS exams.
