Dr. Chandran Gnanamuthu

Dr. Gnanamuthu established and headed one of India's best Neurological services at Christian Medical College, Vellore. He has over 40 years of extensive experience in medical education, clinical research and healthcare delivery. He has over 70 publications in peer reviewed journals and paper presentations in conferences both national & international. He is one of India's most eminent clinical neurologists. His research interests are in neurological infections and nervous system inflammation, particularly para-infectious syndromes and tracing the link between genetic and epi-genetic factors and their association with immunological and inflammatory mediators leading to the development of neurological disorders. He is an expert in the management of Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, stroke, dizziness/vertigo, balance disorders, neck/back pain, spinal cord diseases, weakness/paralytic diseases, multiple sclerosis and peripheral neuropathy and many more.
