Dr. Anurag Gupta

Dr. Anurag Gupta is a young dynamic Neurosurgeon, with over 15 Yrs. of experience who believes that treatment for the Brain or Spine should go beyond just treating an MRI or X-ray, but treating the patient as a whole. Treatment should not only focus on good surgical results but achieving the best quality of life and outcome for the patient. By working closely with his neurology, neuro-intervention colleagues, He aims to provide the most comprehensive neurological care for his patients. After completing his training from the Kasturba Medical College Manipal in 2010, he continued to serve his alma mater before shifting to Delhi NCR in 2013. Here he worked for 7 years as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Fortis Vasant Kunj before joining Narayana Super speciality Hospital Gurgaon in 2020. He then returned back to Fortis Vasant Kunj in July 2023 as a senior consultant. His field of work includes neurotrauma, brain tumours, vascular surgery, skull base surgery, TNTS, Neuro-endoscopy, navigation guided surgery and DBS and functional neurosurgery. He is also routinely performing paediatric neurosurgical procedures including treating tumours, ETV and VP Shunt. He has keen interest in minimally invasive neurosurgery and is an expert in minimally invasive spine surgery (MIS), and routinely does MIS decompression and TLIF for the spine and spinal tumours. In his personal life he takes fitness very seriously and is an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer. Being an active Triathlete, he competes at Ironman events. He has done many marathons and long-distance cycling events. His keen interest in fitness contributes further to give him his unique insight into to various back problems faced by the active population
